Strawberry Picking at Double Branches Farm

Spring = Strawberries!! If you are looking for some great places to pick your own…the CSRA has some great local options! We recently took a trip out to Double Branches Farm in Lincolnton. It was wonderful. We highly recommend you take your family. Here are some of the highlights!

Friendly Staff

The staff is wonderful! They took the time to explain the different varieties and even let us taste a few. They were great with children.

The Market

The produce market had pre-picked berries and eggs!! They keep it stocked…so if your hankering for some berries…just drop by and grab some!

Picnic Area and Playground

Pack lunch and enjoy a day on the farm. They have picnic tables near the market and there is a small playground that is perfect for little ones.

The View

The farm is beautiful. I think it is a great place to take pictures. They have a small pond that has a bench and a swing nearby.

The Chickens

This was our favorite part!! They had two coops of chickens and they were so friendly and talkative. Your kids will love visiting with them.

Sometimes all the good berries are picked and they have to wait till they have more ripened berries. Also, they grow other produce such as blackberries. Those will be available sometime in May.
