Columbia County Summer Camps
Columbia County is proud to offer a series of summer day camps for sport and science lovers alike! Camps are available to children ages 6-13. Each camp offered is one week long. The sports camps being offered include football, softball, volleyball, tennis, baseball, soccer, and basketball. In addition to our sports camps, Reed Creek Nature Park and Interpretive Center will offer an outdoor adventure camp featuring hands-on activities and wetland exploration! Registration for all camps is now open.

Camp Offerings:
Football Camp
Dates: July 22- July 26
Location: Patriots Park
Ages: 7-8 and 9-12
Fee: $100
Participants in this camp will follow a curriculum that is age-appropriate, focused on skill development, and having fun! The camp will be led by Columbia County Parks and Recreation staff and community members.
Girls Softball Camp
Dates: June 1 – June 5
Location: Patriots Park Field 1
Ages: 6-12
Fee: $100
This camp will cover basic fast-pitch softball drills and offer the opportunity to play fun scrimmage games, with instruction from Mike Leverett, Harlem High School Softball Coach. Come learn new skills and improve on existing skills!
Girls Volleyball Camp
Dates: July 22 – 26th
Location: Patriots Park Gym
Ages: 9-13
Fee: $100
Participants in this camp will follow a curriculum that is age-appropriate, focused on skill development, and having fun! The camp will be led by Michael Johnson.
Tennis Camp
Dates: June 8 – 12 & July 6 -10
Location: Patriots Park
Ages: 6-12
Fee: $100
Led by Woody Blount, owner and director of Petersburg Tennis Academy. This camp will introduce and develop tennis skills and strategy. Campers will be grouped by age and skill level.
Boys Baseball Camp
Dates: June 8 – June 12
Location: Patriots Park Field 1
Ages: 6-12
Fee: $100
This camp will cover basic baseball drills and will provide the opportunity to play fun scrimmage games with instruction provided by Mike Leverett, Harlem High School Coach. Come learn new skills and improve on existing ones!
Soccer Camp
Dates: June 15 – June 19 | July 10 – July 10 | July 13 – 17
Location: Patriots Park Field 17
Ages: 6-12
Fee: $100
Participants in this camp will follow a curriculum that is age-appropriate, focused on skill development and having fun! The camp will be led by the Bulls Club Soccer coaches.
Basketball
Dates: July 20 – July 24
Location: Patriots Park Gym 2
Ages: 6-12
Fee: $100
Enjoy basketball drills and scrimmage games with instruction from Chris Robinson, owner of Overtime Academy. Learn new skills and improve on existing ones!
Wild Discovery Camp – Early Explorers (ages 7-8)
Dates: June 8 – 12 | June 22 – 26
Location: Wildwood Park
Ages: 7-8
Fee: $150
Join us at Wildwood Park this summer for Wild Discovery Camp! Each day, the campers will explore different habitats and learn about the animals that live in and around Wildwood Park. Activities include but are not limited to: hiking, swimming, and other outdoor activities. The camp is designed for rising 2nd and 3rd-graders. Both sessions follow the same schedule and material. 9 AM – 1 PM daily.
Wild Discovery Camp – Wild Wanderers (8-11)
Dates: June 1 – 5 | June 15 – 19
Location: Wildwood Park
Ages: 8-11
Fee: $150
