Riverview Park – CSRA Kids Picks!

Riverview Park

As part of our 100 Days of Summer Fun, we wanted to highlight some of the best parks around the CSRA! The kids will be full of energy and it is so nice to get outside (mom get a chair with an umbrella) and let the kids sweaty and tired! Plus, if you are new to town, this will give you an opportunity to get to know the area and explore your new city.

Riverview Park

Riverview Park is one of our favorite parks. It has everything you need for a fun day! The park is located near Downtown North Augusta and sits a walking distance from the Savannah River. The park is also connected to the Greeneway and the Riverview Park Activities Center. The park has baseball fields, tennis courts, 2 playgrounds, soccer fields, picnic pavilions and disc golf. If you are interested in fishing, you can take a short walk down to the fishing piers located near the boat ramp.

Why We Like It!

Low and High Climbing Spots.
Tall and Short Slides.
Fully Accessible. Has a Ramp, Sway Fun Feature, an Adaptive Swing and an Adaptive Merry Go Round.
Rubber Surface.

Mom Notes:

It is hot on a sunny day. It’s out in the open and there are no shaded areas to sit.
I recommend going in the morning or evening during the summer.
There is a water fountain.
The area is not fenced and it’s easy to little ones to wander off.
This is the go-to park for moms in North Augusta. There will be kids to play with.
