Giving Tuesday: 10 Local Non-Profits to Support

Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving that comes on the heels of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. It officially kicks off the holiday charitable season and highlights all the wonderful organizations that give back to our communities on an everyday basis. As we turn our attention to Christmas and all of the hustle and bustle, let’s remember all of the awesome non-profits that serve the CSRA. CSRA Kids is delighted to share some local non-profits that are doing great work and we hope that you would consider donating to them this holiday season.

W.L.J. Angel Gowns

WLJ Angel Gowns is a non-profit 501c3 organization. They accept donated wedding gowns and formal dresses and transform them into angel gowns and angel wraps for babies who leave us too soon. They then donate them, anywhere in the United States, to hospitals and families who suffer infant loss. They want to make sure no family has to worry and wonder what their baby will wear. To date, they have donated 167 angel gowns and angel wraps. Their goal is to bring awareness to infant loss.
