WLJ Angel Gowns is a non-profit 501c3 organization. They accept donated wedding gowns and formal dresses and transform them into angel gowns and angel wraps for babies who leave us too soon. They then donate them, anywhere in the United States, to hospitals and families who suffer infant loss. They want to make sure no family has to worry and wonder what their baby will wear. To date, they have donated 167 angel gowns and angel wraps. Their goal is to bring awareness to infant loss.

Megiddo Dream Station is a non-profit 501c3 organization located in Graniteville, SC. Megiddo provides job training and life skill training. In addition to training, students are connected to local jobs and local business owners that share their life stories. Megiddo has a 97% placement rate! They not only work with adults, but they work with children as well. Megiddo Kidstation provides children with full support from diapers to diploma. Those programs include homework assistance, feeding programs, and more!

Operation Teammate in Augusta, Georgia, is a children’s focused organization engaged in supporting the sons and daughters of all branches of the military, Veteran Wounded Warriors, and a variety of first responders. We give these children a memorable sporting experience by teaming them with athletic teams who make them honorary members during that time of separation.

Forces United (Augusta Warrior Project) is the only local non-profit organization of its kind that brings together all the necessary resources to help local Warriors – wounded or not – and their Families. We take a comprehensive focus to overcome the challenges our local Warriors and their Families face.

The RECing Crew is a 501 3c non-profit organization that was established in 2002 by the families and friends of those with disabilities to offer leisure and recreational choices for individuals with disabilities from all over the CSRA. These programs enhance the physical, emotional, and social growth of those that participate. Currently, there are over 120 individuals, ranging in the ages from 6-78, that participate in one or more of our programs.

A Place To Dream Augusta is program that provides local beds for low income families across the CSRA. The Family YMCA of Greater Augusta partners with local agencies and they have provided over 850 beds in two years. During the holidays, they will be hosting the “Festival of Trees”. The local Y’s will be auctioning off special decorated trees and the money will go to fund beds. Their goal is 1000 beds before the end of 2019.

Friends of the Animal Shelter is a nonprofit 501 3c volunteer organization created in 2009 to supplement the resources of the Aiken County Animal Shelter in the care of approximately 4800 homeless and abandoned animals consigned to its care each year. FOTAS is wholly funded by private donations.

Community Ministry of North Augusta provides help with emergency needs in North Augusta, South Carolina. This help may include assistance with paying overdue bills for water, electricity, and gas, obtaining newly-prescribed medicine (excluding narcotics), and providing food and clothing on a case-by-case basis. CMONA operates a Thrift Store to help fund operations. Store is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30 AM- 3:00 PM

Jessye Norman School of the Arts is an after-school program designed to develop and nurture the artistic and creative talents of students. Child Enrichment Inc.was established in 1978 by a group of physicians, nurses and social workers to help abused children overcome their experience and rebuild their lives. Child Enrichment has helped over 20,500 local, abused, abandoned and neglected children since opening its doors to our community’s children.They provide child abuse education, court-appointed child advocates, and more.
