Go For A Hike

The CSRA is home to great trails and biking routes. Many trails run parallel to the Savannah River and can be very picturesque and romantic. You can pack a picnic, rent a bike, and find the perfect spot to lay a blanket. In the summer months, you can even take a dip in the river. Here is a list of spots to try.

Savannah Rapids Park Trail is located near the Savannah Rapids Pavillion and Canal Headgates. The trail loop is .6 miles.

Cliatt Creek Trail is located at Mistletoe Park in Appling, GA. The trail loop is 3.75 miles and is very easygoing.

Hitchcock Woods is located in Aiken, SC. The Hitchcock Tea Cottage Trail Loop is the most popular of the trails. The trail is a 1.8-mile loop and it’s shaded nicely.

The Phinizy Swamp Trails is a 1,100-acre nature park in Augusta, GA. You can find several trails that are easy to walk. You can walk the boardwalk and look for wildlife.

The Augusta Canal Trails are located in Downtown Augusta.  The area has multiple trails that are easy to navigate and provide plenty of variety.

Forks Area Trail System is a series of trail loops that hikers and bikers love! It offers variety and a challenge for the more experienced. The trails vary from 5 to 8 miles. 

Catch a Movie At The Big Mo

The Big Mo is the area’s only drive-in movie theatre! They show two movies per night and have concessions on site. This date is perfect for couples that need to bring a baby along. $10 Per Adult

Go On The Kit Fox Hunt In Aiken

Go on a scavenger hunt in Downtown Aiken. There is a new hunt where you find bronze kits. There are six in total. After you are done, hang out in the Alley and grab a slice of pizza at Mellow Mushroom.
