Summer at Westminster

Day Camp Information:

These full-day camps have weekly themes designed to enrich and excite your camper’s summer, while also introducing age-appropriate elements of spiritual growth in Jesus Christ. Each week is themed and taught by qualified teachers, accompanied by hand-selected and vetted volunteers, plus a nurse on staff. Days will begin with worship and devotion, themed crafts, stem activities, outdoor pursuits around our beautiful 34-acre campus, playtime, enrichment, and so much fun!

EACH camp week has a weekly theme found on our website. In addition to the weekly themes, each week of camp will include the following extras at no additional cost:

WILDCAT DAY CAMP
Ages: Rising 1st – Rising 5th
Full-day camp cost: $180 per week
($90 per week if combined with a week-long specialty camp).

WILDCAT CUBS DAY CAMP
Ages: Rising PK3 – Rising K
Full-day camp cost: $180 per week

Speciality Camp Information:

Kindergarten Kickoff
Dates: July 15-19
Time:8:00 am-12:00 pm
Ages:Rising Kindergarteners
Cost:$220
This camp is for Rising Kindergarten Students who will be attending Westminster in the fall of 2024. This class sets the foundation with classroom routines, and procedures for rising kindergarten students, teaching vowels and consonants in a thematic unit along with other fun crafts and outside play. Your rising kindergarteners will be well-prepared to begin the school year.

Cooking Camp
Dates: July 15-19
Time: 8:00 am-12:00 pm
Ages: Rising 2nd – Rising 5th
Cost: $250
One week of cooking class where students will learn cooking fundamentals and kitchen skills. Cooking camp will also consist of baking Key Lime Pie, Cupcakes, Cheesecake, Cookies, and Bread just to name a few items we will make. We will also include kitchen safety, following a recipe, and measuring ingredients. This camp is taught by Westminster’s own Chef Keith.

Young Explorers Camp
Dates: June 10-14
Time: 8:00 am-12:00 pm
Ages: 4-6 years old
Cost: $200/week
Join us for an exciting adventure blending creativity and discovery!  This camp features guided nature excursions where we’ll search for spiders, bugs, birds, and other wildlife. These young adventurers will craft art projects using natural materials such as found objects, sticks, fabrics, paint, clay, and more. Whether your child is a nature lover, an aspiring artist, or simply loves to explore, there’s something for everyone at our camp! Each camper receives his/her explorer kit and binoculars to take home. This camp is for campers ages 4-6.

Little Artist Camp
Dates: June 24-28
Time: 12:00 pm-4:00 pm
Ages: 4 – 6 years old
Cost: $200/week
Calling all budding Picassos and mini Monets! Join us for a week of creative exploration and artistic fun at our Little Artists Camp. Campers will engage in a variety of hands-on art activities designed to spark their imagination. Each day, campers will explore a different children’s book and create artwork inspired by the characters, settings, and themes found within the pages. Campers can embrace the messiness of creativity through finger painting and splatter art while experimenting with different art materials free from the fear of making mistakes. After camp, we will celebrate every artist’s journey. Campers will have the opportunity to proudly display their artwork, inviting family to admire their creative achievements!  This camp is for campers ages 4-6 years old.

Famous Artist Camp
Dates: June 24-28
Time: 8:00 am-12:00 pm
Ages:  6 – 9 years old
Cost: $200/week
Step into the colorful world of renowned artists and let your creativity soar at our Famous Artists Camp! Designed for young art enthusiasts, this camp offers a captivating journey through the lives, techniques, and masterpieces of some of history’s most celebrated artists. Campers will learn about different artistic styles, techniques, and mediums inspired by artists such as Van Gogh and Monet. At the end of camp, campers will have the opportunity to display their masterpieces for family and friends, celebrating their creativity and accomplishments in true artistic style. This camp is for campers ages 6 – 9 years old.

Art in Nature Camp
Dates: June 10-14
Time: 12:00 pm-4:00 pm
Ages: 6 – 9 years old
Cost: $200/week
Embark on a journey of creativity and exploration as we blend the beauty of God’s creation with the joy of artistic expression at our Nature and Art Camp! From nature walks to hands-on exploration, campers will deepen their appreciation for the natural world. Campers will engage in a variety of artistic activities, including sketching, painting, sculpting, and crafting using natural materials. Every day at Art and Nature Camp is filled with exciting new experiences from creating land art installations to birdwatching and nature journaling!  Each camper receives his/her nature journal and binoculars to take home.  This camp is for ages 6 – 9 years old.

Broadway Junior: 101  Dalmations
Dates: July 8-12
Time: 12:00 pm-4:00 pm
Ages: Rising K4 – Rising 2nd
Cost: $210/week
Does your child love musical theatre and wants to have a PAW-rific time this summer? If so, then they will love Broadway Jr. 101 Dalmatians Kids Camp! We will sing and perform upbeat songs, such as the Dalmatian Conga, Kanine Krunchies, My Beautiful Coat, and so much more! We will have a special performance in the afternoon of Friday, July 12th and parents are more than welcome to attend. The price includes a custom shirt for each child and special props to go along with their character in the play. This camp is specifically for rising Kindergarten through Rising Second Grade.

Lego Camp
Dates: June 17-21
Time: 12:00 pm-4:00 pm
Ages: 6 – 9 years old
Cost: $185/week
Join us for an exciting week filled with creativity, innovation, and fun at our LEGO Camp! Designed for young builders and problem-solvers who will experience building challenges, team collaboration, LEGO-themed games and competitions, arts and crafts, and more! This camp is for ages 6 – 9 years old.

Fun With Physics and Flying
Dates: June 24-28
Time: 8:00 am-12:00 pm
Ages: 10 – 13 years old
Cost: $200/week
Get ready for an electrifying journey into the world of science and aviation at our one-of-a-kind camp! “Fun with Physics and Flying” is the ultimate destination for young minds eager to explore the wonders of physics, unleash their creativity with 3-D printing, and soar to new heights with exhilarating model rocket launches and weather balloon experiments.

Young Ladies Club
Dates: July 8-12
Time: 12:00 pm-4:00 pm
Ages: 11-13 years old
Cost: $190/week
This camp is for any pre-teen girl ages 11 – 13 who is interested in learning about grooming (hair, skin, and nails), hygiene, stress management, and modesty.  We will learn about what to expect during puberty and how womanhood is God’s design.  Each camper will leave with a pre-teen devotional, emergency school kit for hygiene, and cosmetic samples for hair, skin, and nail care.

Miniature War Gaming Camp
Dates: July 8-12
Time: 8:00 am-4:00 pm
Ages: 10 – 17 years old
Cost: $275/week full-day
Want more for your student this summer than X-box, Playstation, or endless phone time? Then introduce your student to the world of miniature wargaming. Wargaming is a social hobby where students will paint their armies and then refight some of the most famous battles of WWII using realistic rules on beautiful terrain tables. At the end of the camp, they’ll get to take their figures home with them to remember the experience! They will never look at history the same way again. The cost is 275.00 per camper per week for a full day from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Media as Literature
Dates: June 17-21 & June 24-28
Time: 10:00 am-12:00 pm
Ages: Rising 9th – Rising 12th
Cost: $260/week
This Camp is open to Rising ninth -twelfth-grade students at Westminster only. Students who attend this two-week camp will earn 1 fine art credit for high school. It is taught by Tucker Blackmon, our Upper School English teacher.

Crochet Camp
Dates: July 15-19
Time: 12:00 pm-4:00 pm
Ages: Rising 3rd – Rising 8th
Cost: $200/week
Unravel the art of crochet with us! Join our introductory crochet class and discover the joy of creating beautiful handmade creations. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to brush up on your skills, this class is perfect for you. All Campers will leave camp with a small crochet creation at the end of the week.

Beginner Quilt Making
Dates: June 24-28
Time: 12:00 pm-4:00 pm
Ages: Rising 4th – Rising 5th
Cost: $185/week
Embark on a journey into the world of quilting with our beginner’s class! Whether you’re a crafting novice or looking to hone your skills, this immersive workshop is designed to ignite your passion for fabric artistry. Join us as we guide you through the fundamentals of quilting, from selecting fabrics and mastering basic stitches to piecing together your very own beautiful quilt blocks. Each camper will leave with their lap quilt and the knowledge to continue.

T-Ball Co-ed Camp
Dates: June 3-7
Time: 8:00 am-12:00 pm
Ages: Rising K – Rising 2nd
Cost: $190/week
Join us for a season of fun-filled action where boys and girls come together to learn the basics of America’s favorite pastime. Our T-Ball program is designed to introduce young athletes to the fundamentals of baseball in a supportive and inclusive environment. From learning how to swing the bat to fielding grounders like a pro, our experienced coaches will guide players every step of the way. Plus, with an emphasis on teamwork and sportsmanship, players will not only develop their skills but also forge lasting friendships on the diamond. This camp is coached by Westminster’s Varsity Baseball Head Coach Steve Epperly.

Baseball Co-ed Camp

Join us for a season of fun-filled action where boys and girls come together to learn the basics of America’s favorite pastime. Our Baseball program is designed to introduce young athletes to the fundamentals of baseball in a supportive and inclusive environment. From learning how to swing the bat to fielding grounders like a pro, our experienced coaches will guide players every step of the way. For those that already have a foundation in baseball, our coaches will continue to develop and fine tune their skills. Plus, with an emphasis on teamwork and sportsmanship, players will not only develop their skills but also forge lasting friendships on the diamond. This camp is coached by Westminster’s Varsity Baseball Head Coach Steve Epperly.

Cheer Camp

Cost: $225/week
Do you have a daughter who loves all things cheer? If so, you will want to attend this summer’s Cheer Cubs Camp! The camp is a full week that includes cheers, jumps, dances, stunts, and a routine. The Cheer Cubs will also paint run-through banners and fence signs to show their Wildcat spirit. Each girl will receive a set of pom poms for participating in the camp and will receive digital copies of the music and the dance to practice at home.

Girls Volleyball Camp
Dates: June 3-7

“Calling all aspiring volleyball stars! Dive into the exciting world of volleyball at our Girls Volleyball Camp! Join us for an exhilarating week of learning and fun as we focus on teaching you the ins and outs of the game, from mastering serves to perfecting your spikes. This camp is led by Westminster’s JV Volleyball Head Coach, Rahkeem George.

Boys Basketball Camp
Dates: June 3-7 (Session 1) | June 10-14 (Session 2)

Get ready to elevate your game to new heights at our Boys Basketball Camp! Boys Soccer Camp
