Skateland of Augusta: CSRA Kids Spotlight

Recently I took my daughter to Skateland of Augusta on Windsor Spring Rd. It was her first time skating. We went for their 10 and under kids skate session which is Saturday mornings from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. We only had to pay $5 for her, parents are free, and that includes the skates! We also paid an extra $5 to rent a wheeler which is kind of like a triangle made of PVC pipe on wheels. The wheeler really helped my daughter be more comfortable on the skates, definitely worth the money. There were plenty of other kids there, but thankfully it wasn’t packed. My daughter stayed on the side of the rink and kind of skated back and forth. Even though everyone was falling they would get right back up and try again. Everyone was having so much fun. They have a party area that is perfect for birthday parties. They have different party packages to choose from. There’s also lots of parking. I would definitely recommend Skateland of Augusta for you and your family.

Things I Loved!

During the kids’ skate sessions on Saturday mornings, the entrance fee and wheelers are very affordable, at just $5 each.

The Rabbit Hole Snack Bar has a good variety of foods and drinks at affordable prices.

The Rabbit Hole Snack Bar area and around the outside of the skating rink provide plenty of seating.

The lights, music, and arcade games make the atmosphere so much fun.

The staff members were very nice, especially the ones who were skating around the rink helping little kids when they fell.
