Cooper is a 6 year old little boy from Saluda, S.C. who was diagnosed August 7, 2023 with a very rare generic disorder called Hypomyelinating Leukodystrophy 8. There has been less than 150 people diagnosed with his condition in the world since 2014, Cooper is number 141. The incurable disease affects the brain and the prognosis is not good. Cooper will be going to the Children’s Hospital of Philedelphia where he will be seen at the Leukodystrophy Center for further testing and guidance. All proceeds will be donated to his family to help with medical care.
