Saturday Signing with Astronaut Susan Kilrain

We’re excited to welcome Augusta’s own Astronaut Susan Kilrain, joining us to sign her book AN UNLIKELY ASTRONAUT.

🚀 About the author:

Commander Susan Still Kilrain is an astronaut, a Navy test pilot, an aerospace engineer and a world traveler. She is the youngest person to pilot the space shuttle, and one of only three women to do so. Susan piloted space shuttle missions STS-83 and STS-94, spending more that twenty days in space. Susan is currently a motivational speaker, specializing in encouraging young women and underprivileged teens to excel in STEM careers.

AN UNLIKELY ASTRONAUT tells the true story of how Astronaut Susan Kilrain overcame all obstacles to achieve her dream of flying in space after growing up in a time when, as a woman, it seemed nearly impossible.
