Return to Bethlehem

“Return to Bethlehem” has been a local tradition for the past 24 years. It was designed to be and still is, our church’s Christmas gift to the CSRA.

Free to the public, and funded by donations, this immersive experience has a cast of over 100 costumed characters and a miniature version of the “Little Town of Bethlehem”.

The town is complete with a star that can be seen for miles and a multitude of live animals. As you walk through this bustling town, with a wise and informative Bethlehem guide, you will smell the food cooking in the square, hear the bands of street musicians, and observe transactions at the merchants and Inns. The tour starts with Mary getting the “Good News” from the angel Gabriel and follows the couple all the way thru to Jesus’s birth in the manger. Journeying to Bethlehem will definitely fill you with the Christmas spirit!

Please join us for this moving and inspirational journey on December 6th-9th, from 6:30-8:30 behind Grace United Methodist Church at 639 Georgia Ave., North Augusta.

There will be a 6:00 drive thru for the differently abled.
