Join the Friends of Hopelands and Rye Patch partnered with the City of Aiken Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department on Sunday, October 15, from 1-5 pm for the 2nd Annual Nature Rocks in Hopelands Gardens. This is sure to be a fun and educational day of nature crafts, scavenger hunts, and demonstrations by several organizations. We will have several returning organiziations that participated in last years events and are pleased to welcome seven new exhibitors this year. In addition, participants can enjoy Story Time with Mother Goose, take a history walk with Allen Riddick, and learn about the labyrinth from Mrs. Jackie Hill.
“We are very excited to be a hosting this event again this year after the success of last year’s event. We will have all of the organiziations returning from last year and are pleased to welcome seven new exhibitors this year.” said Tommie Culligan, Co-Chair of the Nature Rocks in Hopelands event along with Kathy Wise.
