Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway

On July 23rd, Augusta Worship Center will host a Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway. The first 200 school-age youth will receive a free backpack filled with school supplies. The child must be present, and the backpacks will be given out on a first-served basis.

“With increasing costs for school supplies, AWC Cares saw a need to engage the community to help parents. We’ve increased our Backpack Giveaway from 100 to 200 free backpacks this year” said Johnson of Augusta Worship Center. “Providing school supplies at no cost removes at least one major hurdle for parents, and assists the child with getting off to a good start.”
