2019 Summer Reading Kickoff Event

Come and explore “A Universe of Stories” with the Augusta-Richmond County Public Library! Our annual Summer Reading Kickoff event will be held Saturday June 1st from 11 am to 2 pm. Our FREE fun-filled event will provide food, a video game truck, and live music from Mark Griffiths. Those coming to the kickoff will be able to register for the Summer Reading Program, which is open to all ages. You will also be able to register at any of our other local library branches. Online registration will be open by Saturday, June 1st. Reading requirements vary depending on the age of the participants. All participants must complete and return their reading logs to their local ARCPLS branch between Saturday, June 1st and Friday, August 2nd. This is a great opportunity for all walks of life to participate in reading and fun during the summer time! So get your summer started the right way, with the Augusta-Richmond County Public Library!
