Tybee Island is a small coastal community located 18 miles outside of Savannah, GA. There is a lot to do and makes for a great family vacation. See the lighthouses, tour Fort Pulaski, and take a tour of Savannah. Oh, and enjoy the beach!

This state park is nestled in the Golden Isles, a group of four barrier islands located off the Georgia coast. It is a great getaway for families. The island has great beaches, mini-golf, a water park, and more. There are also a lot of natural features to enjoy.

St. Simon’s Island

St. Simon’s Island is also located in the Golden Isle. This getaway is perfect for a low-key vacation. Spend a day on the beach and a nice evening at Neptune park. There are trail systems and other historical sites.

Lake Lanier

Not the ocean, but Lake Lanier has fun beaches too! 45 minutes north of Atlanta, the lake has many attractions and fun for the whole family. There are many beach front points along the lake and many of them have shelters and even access to a playground. There are a few attractions as well!
