Independence Day Celebration 2021

This one-day event includes a kiddie carnival, shopping, food, live entertainment and so much more. The night ends with a firework extravaganza unrivaled by anyone in the CSRA. MWR has made a goal of providing the Fort Gordon and local CSRA communities a safe and family-friendly environment to celebrate our great nation. No pets, tents, or coolers are allowed.

We invite everyone in the community to come to the Thomson-McDuffie Government Complex grounds to have a picnic on the lawn, enjoy food from local restaurants and music from TMT Productions. 

4th of July Celebration at Living History Park

Join us as we celebrate the birth of our country on July 4th from noon to 3:00 pm. The Declaration of Independence will be read at 1:00 pm at the Meeting House. The Mayor of North Augusta will be our special guest. There will be limited refreshments and hot dogs. The historic buildings will be open during the event for guests to tour. Show your patriotic spirit and dress up. Pets are welcome as long as they are well-behaved and on a leash.
