Fireworks, Cook-Outs, Family and Parades!! The Fourth of July is right around the corner and we want to help you navigate all the fun things going on around town. So if you are looking for fireworks, family festivals or some good food, we got you covered!

Fire Over Aiken 2018

June 23rd – 9:00 am til 10 pm

The fireworks display will begin around 9:15 p.m. Entry to the fairgrounds and general parking are free to the public.
There will be fireworks, carnival rides, games, a variety of food concessions, exhibitors, and live entertainment.

Independence Day Celebration 2018

15th Annual Independence Day Kid and Pet Parade

Join us on Sunday, July 1st at 8:30pm for a parade around the drive-in. Decorate your wagons and strollers. Dress your pets and kids in patriotic costumes or in red, white & blue. Let them carry flags or noise makers. Goodies for all who participate. Decorate your vehicle to line our “parade route.”

Games and activities for the whole family. The Thomson Family Y will coordinate different activities such as sack races, a dunking booth, and so much more.  A corn hole tournament where the winner will receive a brand new television donated by the Thomson Walmart Supercenter. The Thomson Fire Department will also have their ladder truck spraying water for the kids to play in. There will be vendors selling food.

The City of Grovetown’s 4th of July Event is one of our biggest annual events, this year marks year 32. This years event will be an outdoor event, showcasing entertainment, vendors, a kiddie fun zone and Free BBQ Sandwiches.
