Summer @ EDS 2024 registration is now open!  We are very excited about the fantastic opportunities we have available to campers in the CSRA this summer. 

Day Camp at EDS is a 8-week summer camp for children 3-12 years of age. Every day, students will participate in games, arts and crafts, outdoor play, special activities based on the week’s theme, and additional rotations of activities.

Summer @ EDS Day Camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with half-day until 1:00 p.m., extended day until 5:00 p.m., and early care opening at 8:00 a.m. To qualify for our 3-year-old camp program, campers must be toilet trained and have been in a preschool setting for at least one year. 

*Please note, for our Extended Day options to run, we need a minimum of 5 campers enrolled.

2024 Themes

June 3-7: Superhero Training Week
Discover your inner hero through character-building exercises, superhero challenges, and a focus on the importance of helping others.

June 10-14: Artful Antics
A week-long whirlwind of artistic expression focused on a variety of arts and crafts. Bring your imagination!

June 17-21: Full STEAM Ahead
Calling all creators! Campers are sure to unleash their imagination and critical thinking skills while they explore the wonders of STEAM subjects – Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.

June 24-28: Outdoor Odyssey
This week is will nurture a love for the environment! Explore nature’s wonder through hikes, observation, and eco-friendly projects.

July 8-12: Bug Bonanza!
Enter the fascinating world of insects! From bug hunts to creating bug houses, campers will find an appreciation for these tiny creatures. 

July 15-19: Adventure Quest
Embark on a thrilling journey filled with treasure hunts, obstacle courses, and team challenges. This week requires your best teamwork and problem-solving!

July 22-26: All Things Ooey, Gooey, and Slimy
Get ready to stretch and squish all things ooey, gooey, and delightfully slimy. This week will be filled with slimy surprises and gobs of gooey fun!

July 29-August 2: Summer Olympics
Dive into a variety of sports and games from across the globe. Which country will come out on top?

Pricing

Early Bird Pricing – Before March 31:

Full Day until 3:30: $185/week
Half Day until 1:00: $145/week

Pricing After April 1:

Full Day until 3:30: $205/week
Half Day until 1:00: $165/week

Early Birds (8:00-9:00 a.m): $25/week

*Early Birds requires a minimum of 5 campers to run each week. If you register for early birds, we will let you know within 2 weeks of camp starting if we have reached our minimum to run for that week.

Extended Day (until 5:00 p.m.): $50/week

*Extended day requires a minimum of 5 campers to run each week. If you register for an extended day, we will let you know within 2 weeks of camp starting if we have reached our minimum to run for that week

Camp Refunds

The $50 deposit is non-refundable

Cancellations made two or more weeks before the start of the session will be refunded their balance minus the non-refundable $50 deposit

Camps canceled within two weeks of the start of the session will receive a 50% refund

All camp balances can be transferred to another session

2024 Specialty Camps

In addition to Summer @ EDS Day Camp, we also offer specialty camps, open to all students in the CSRA (unless otherwise noted), where skills can be honed in one specific area. Specialty camps get added all the time to our roster so please check our website, the EDS Panther Post newsletter, and social media posts for more information. Please note that some specialty camps have an option to add afternoon care from 12 or 1-3:30 p.m.

Specialty Camps held on the Walton Way Campus will have an option for campers to be transported to our Flowing Wells Campus for the remainder of the Day Camp day.  3:30 p.m. pickup is only available at our Flowing Wells campus.

Art Camp
Ages: Rising 1st – 3rd Grade

Cost: $180
Calling all budding artists – join the Roberts sisters for a week of art! Rising 1st – 3rd graders will spend the week focused on painting and drawing. All skill levels are welcome!


Pre-Kinder Camp

Ages: Accepted PK students for the 2024-2025 school year
Cost: $200
Join us this summer for EDS Pre-Kinder Camp!  Accepted EDS Pre-Kindergarten (PK) students for the 2024-2025 school year are invited to join us for a fun-filled week, including classroom readiness activities, ritual and routine building, and lots of fun! Children will practice important daily skills to prepare them for the upcoming school year. The camp will be offered twice this summer. Campers need to bring the following items: AM/PM snack, lunch, water bottle, nap sack, and a complete change of clothes.


Wonder-Full Water

Ages: Rising 2nd – 5th Grade

The wonders of water are all around us: it nourishes the earth, helps us stay alive, and is a part of play and adventure. During this fun week of camp, we will enjoy the wonders of water through games, Godly Play* stories, hands-on and STEAM activities, and more. *Godly Play is an imaginative method for presenting stories of scripture and is a curriculum used in religion classes at EDS.


Football Camp

Ages: Rising 1st-8th Grade

Join Augusta United Football for a week of football skills and drills! The football camp will assist campers in the proper techniques of different positions played in football and basic plays used, while reinforcing the rules and discipline it takes to be a successful athlete. All skill levels are welcome.


Video Game Design

Ages: Rising 3rd – 6th Grade
Cost: $300
Join CodeFu and build your own video game using Bloxels! This popular STEM program will focus on 21st-century skills, programming, problem-solving, logic, and teamwork. Students will publish and play each other’s game at the end of the session.


Soccer Camp

Coach Heblich is excited to teach and engage in lessons and activities that build soccer and athletic skills while having tons of fun! Join us on Friday to showcase all of the soccer skills we learned!


Baseball Camp

Join D-BAT for a week of baseball skills and drills. All skill levels are welcome! D-BAT Evans is a premier indoor baseball and softball academy that provides state-of-the-art pitching machines and training cages, camps and clinics, and professional private instruction for players of all ages.


Volleyball Camp

The goal of the Episcopal Day School Volleyball Camp is to teach and improve the fundamental skills for the sport of indoor volleyball. This summer camp is designed for girls entering grades 3-8 who have an interest in learning to play volleyball and/or improve their volleyball skills. Our campers will receive one-on-one and group instruction, including serving, hitting, passing, and defensive/offensive gameplay and strategies. Our final day of camp will be spent putting the skills and concepts covered during the week into friendly competition with fellow campers. All skill levels are welcome.


Cheerleading Camp

Ages: Rising Kindergarten – 5th Grade

Join EDS alumni for a fun-filled week of cheer! Learn the EDS cheers and practice a routine to show off your new skills. Parents will be invited to join us for a performance on Friday. All skill levels are welcome. Participants will also be invited to cheer at an EDS football game this fall!


Basketball Camp

Ages: Rising 1st – 8th Grade
Cost: $180
Dribble, shoot, and score! Campers will work on basic basketball techniques of shooting, dribbling, passing, rebounding, and defense. Parents will be invited to a skills showcase at the end of the week. All skill levels are welcome.


Nature Adventure

July 15 – 19

Location: Flowing Wells Campus
Ages: Rising PK – 1st Grade
Cost: $180
Campers entering PK through 1st grade are invited to spend a week out in the Flowing Wells woods exploring alongside our Nature School Staff! Campers will learn about plants and animals that are native to our campus, and may even get to snack out of our gardens. Water shoes, long pants, and clothes that can get muddy are required.


Get Ready With Me! 1st Grade Math Booster

Baking and Decorating with Bottom Line Bakery

Location: Walton Way Campus
Ages: 8 – 12 Years
Cost: $200
Join Kelsey Lucius, Owner of Bottom Line Bakery, and winner of Chopped Sweets, for a week in the kitchen. Campers will learn about various mixing methods, bakery weighing, and icing applications while creating cookies, cupcakes, biscuits, and muffins. No previous baking experience is required.


July Art Camp

Let’s have fun, learn new art skills, and explore materials in our July Art Camp! Young artists will create watercolor pinwheels, neon cardboard fish, geode circular weavings, stamped seashell art (and more) with Mrs. Searle.

Summer at Episcopal Day School Camp

Leader in Training (LiT) @ EDS

Have your teenager apply for our Leader in Training program and learn valuable leadership skills this summer. This volunteer position is for teenagers, 13-15. Through the LiT Program, our young leaders will get CPR/First Aid Certified, gain leadership experience, work hands-on with younger children, and be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of activities for the camp. LiTs must commit to at least 2 weeks of camp, and priority will be given to those who can work for the entire summer.
