It’s Summer and now it’s time for some wet fun!! If you are looking for pools and wet play spaces in the CSRA…we got you covered. Here is a list of all the places you can find pools and splash pads around town. Enjoy!!
Public Pools (Pay The Day)
Aiken County Recreation Center Pool
The Aiken County Recreation Center Pool located off of Aiken/Augusta Hwy in Graniteville. The pool is fully upgraded and has a ton of features. There are shaded places to sit and has restrooms for changing. It is completely fenced in and a fenced-in playground is located nearby.
The Kroc Center of Augusta
The Kroc Center of Augusta is a fantastic indoor pool facility that your kids will be sure to love. It makes a great alternative for rainy days. The indoor water park has a lazy river, some small slides, a jacuzzi, lap lanes, a kid’s splash pad, and a 180 ft enclosed slide!
Henry H Brigham Center (Under Construction)
Henry H. Brigham is an indoor heated pool that is wheelchair accessible. They are open for recreational swimming and birthday parties.
The City of Aiken Pool
The City of Aiken Pool is located in Downtown Aiken at the Smith Hazel Community Center. This newly renovated pool features a splash area, slide, zero-depth entry point, and more. The cost is $1.00 for city residents and $2.00 for non-city residents. Please see the website for more details.
Lake Beaches
Lake Springs/Beach Lake
There are multiple lake beaches near Lake Springs Recreation Area. There are also picnic areas, a playground, and other amenities.
West Dam Beach Recreation Area
West Dam Beach Recreation Area has multiple lake beaches. There are also picnic areas, a playground, and other amenities.
Wildwood Park Beach
Wildwood Park has a lake beach adjacent to a playground, restrooms, and a volleyball area. There are also some picnic areas nearby.
Elijah Clark Beach Front
Elijah Clark State Park has a lake beach adjacent to a playground, beach house, and a volleyball area. There are also some picnic areas nearby.
Mistletoe Park
Mistletoe Park has a lake beach that is adjacent to a playground, beach house, and a volleyball area. There are also some picnic areas nearby.
Strom Thurmond/Clarks Hill Lake
The kids will love this! Clarks Hill Lake has a beach area and it is great for all ages. There are several beaches to go to: Lakes Springs Recreation, Amity Recreation Area, Big Hart Recreation and Area West Dam.
Richardsons Lake Water Park and Outdoor Recreation Area – Warrenville
Aiken County’s best-kept secret. You don’t have to drive far to enjoy the lake. The lake area has a diving board, a big slide, and some kiddie slides. There is also a dock. There is a picnic area. Coolers are allowed in your car, but not in the lake area. There is also a snack bar that serves food. Please see their site for more details!
Aiken State Park
Does your family love the great outdoors? We recommend Aiken State Park! It is a favorite for campers, kayaking/canoeing, and fishing. They have a playground area, picnic shelters, a swimming area (no lifeguard), and hiking trails.
Raes Creek Park
Located in Augusta, GA, this is local sweet spot. You can swim and take a hike and enjoy some rock climbing. Please be cautious! The rocky outcrops around the aqueduct are steep. Also, use caution around the waterfalls surfaces.
Pools With Membership
The Wilson Family Y
The Wilson Family Y is located on Wheeler Rd. in Augusta. They have an indoor and outdoor pool. They also have a large slide, a kiddie pool with water features, restrooms, and changing areas. See the website for pricing!
Houndslake Country Club
Houndslake Country Club has a pool that is Olympic sized with a diving board, kiddie pool, snack bar and bathhouse. They also have a swim team! Please see website for membership details!
Augusta Aquatics Center
Augusta Aquatics Center has an Olympic-sized indoor pool. They have tons of ongoing activities and is a great way to beat the heat! They also host birthday parties.
Fort Gordon Outdoor Pool & Spray Park
The Fort Gordon Outdoor Pool & Spray Park is located at the Courtyard on Fort Gordan. They have a big pool and kiddie pool. Both pools have beachfront access. The Spray Park has over 20 features. Some of the features include three aquatic animals, a helicopter, tumble buckets, and a toddler slide. There are also some diving boards and shaded areas. You can have lunch under the covered patio. Hammond Hills Suburban Club
Hammond Hill Suburban Club pool is located in the Hammond Hill community in North Augusta, SC. It has a large sized pool, a large and kiddie-sized pool, wading pool and restrooms. Please see website for membership details.
Fermata Club
The Fermata Club Pool is located in Downtown Aiken. It is a large sized pool, diving board, and a changing area. They have an active swim team and swimming lessons. Please see website for membership details.
Petersburg Racquet Club
Petersburg Racquet Club is located in Martinez. The club has a double L-shaped junior Olympic-size pool with a diving board. There is also a children’s circular wading pool. They do have other amenities such as grills, lounge chairs, and club events. They have an active swim team and lessons. Please see the website for membership details.
The Aiken Family Y
The Aiken Family Y is located in Graniteville. It has two water slides, an Olympic-sized pool, a toddler pool with water features, a picnic area, concessions, and restroom areas. They just added a playground next to the pool! See the website for pricing!
National Hills Pool
The National Hills Pool is located in Augusta. It has a diving board and concessions stand. There are lifeguards on duty and your family can buy a membership to swim.
West Lake Country Club
West Lake Country Club is located in Augusta. It is a junior Olympic-sized pool with a pool slide. It has a cafe and a playground nearby. As a member, you have access to activities and events throughout the summer.
Splash Pads
Summerfield Splash Pad
Summerfield Splash Pad is located in Summerfield Park in North Augusta, SC. This splash pad has several in-ground water features and one above ground fountain. The pad is surrounded by benches and it’s great for little ones.
Evans Library Playground Splash Pad
The Evans Library Playground Splash Pad is located behind the Columbia County Library. It is located in the center of the play area and has fun splash features to cool off you kids while they play. The splash pad is located to several covered areas for you to sit and beat the heat. There is also a restroom area nearby.
Aiken Sprayground
The Aiken Sprayground is a great free option to beat the Summer heat! It has a water slide, water guns, and several spray features. It is surrounded by a grassy area and has a covered picnic area with restrooms and changing rooms. Be advised…it is reserved some during the week by groups. You MAY not be able to play during those times.
Charles H. Evans Splash Pad
Charles H. Evans Splash Pad is a gated splash pad. It has several water features and is located near open spaces and picnic areas. Please see website for pricing details!
Evans Towne Park Splash Pad
Evans Towne Park Splash Pad is a great way for the kids to cool off this summer. There is also a playground and dog park near by!
Gateway Park Splash Pad
The Gateway Park Splash Pad is a gated splash area that has two water shooters, ground features, and a large water dumping feature. There is one shaded seating area and benches situated around.
Riverview Park Splash Pad
The Riverview Park Splash Pad is located in North Augusta, SC. The splash pad has a toddler-friendly splashing area with low features and sail-shaded space. The park also has water features designed for older kids like shooters and a baseball-shaped dumping feature. There is plenty of grass area about the splash pad and few benches. There are large trees nearby for shade.

Riverwood Plantation Pool
The Riverview Plantation Pool is located in Evans, GA. The pool is private, but it is open for non-residents to join via membership.
Country Place
Country Place Pool is located in Evans. This is a neighborhood pool that is open to non-residents with a membership. Please see the website for membership details.
The Glenwood Pool
The Glenwood Pool is located in Evans. This is a neighborhood pool that is open to non-residents with a membership. They have a junior Olympic size pool with a diving board. The pool has cabanas, grills, and plenty of seating. Please see the website for membership details.
Spring Lakes Pool
