A new program is teeing up in Grovetown this fall, and it’s aimed at golfers who are, well, still working on tying their shoes.
First Fairways, a brand-new youth golf program serving the CSRA, is now open for Fall 2026 enrollment. Built specifically for children ages 2 to 6, the program takes a play-first approach to introducing kids to the game — with a parent or caregiver right there on the grass for every class.
Where Little Golfers Begin
First Fairways was founded on the idea that the earlier a child feels welcome on a golf course, the longer they’ll love the game. Rather than formal drills, classes lean on games, movement, and joyful repetition to quietly build real fundamentals: balance, aim, the full swing, chipping, putting, and eventually playing a hole.
Founded locally and built by CSRA parents for their own little ones — and now for the community — the program keeps classes small, age-grouped, and coach-led, with every coach hand-picked, background-checked, and trained in a step-by-step system for teaching young children.
Three Class Levels
Seeds — Age 2 (30 minutes, class size of 8, $125/season) Saturdays: 9:00–9:30 AM, 9:50–10:20 AM, or 10:40–11:10 AM
Sprouts — Ages 3–4 (35 minutes, class size of 8, $165/season) Saturdays: 9:00–9:35 AM or 10:40–11:15 AM, or Tuesdays 5:30–6:05 PM
Oaks — Ages 5–6 (40 minutes, class size of 8, $185/season), Saturdays 9:50–10:30 AM or Tuesdays 5:30–6:10 PM
All equipment is included, and tuition covers the full 8-week season. Families enrolling more than one child get 15% off each additional sibling.
Each 8-week season is also built around a character theme, pairing a word — respect, patience, confidence, courage, consideration, honesty, teamwork, and joy — with that week’s golf skill, so kids are growing off the course as much as on it.

Classes play through light weather, with a built-in make-up week for anything canceled due to lightning, storms, or unsafe heat.
What to Bring
Families are asked to bring sunscreen, a water bottle, comfortable clothes, and closed-toe shoes. First Fairways provides all clubs and equipment, sized for little hands.
