Parent and Me Music Play Date

• What we’ll do
Music Play date for the families with newborn to 8 years old. This class is designed to bring the joy of music and movement to little ones and their caregivers. The activity offers plenty of fun outlets for energy, promoting cognitive development through singing, dancing, and instrument play. This mixed-age play group is perfect for families who wish to bring two or more children of different ages to the same class, or for parents who simply prefer a mixed-age setting for their child. Our music play dates allow infants through eight years old and their caregivers the opportunity to gather together for a fun-filled learning experience. You’ll also have the opportunity to connect with other parents and caregivers who are also experiencing the joys and complexities of these busy years, while learning to use music to create and simplify routines at home.

This is a very active class sure to burn energy for both children and parents. Activities include singing, dancing, focused listening and simple instrument playing, creating an environment in which the child’s music aptitude is nurtured and skills are developed. Your group leader will help modify movements and participation for each of your children.
