Lassos for Learning

LEARN Aiken Foundation is excited to be hosting a community event for kids and families in Aiken, South Carolina. on Saturday October 26th from 3pm – 9pm. This will be a charity event for the LEARN Aiken Foundation. We will be hosting a western style roping event with dummy steer ground roping competitions on Newberry St. in downtown Aiken called LASSOS for LEARNING. (No horses, ground roping only!) This event will include information about our nonprofit, free books for kids, T-shirts, western merchandise vendors, live music, food trucks, silent auction, and of course, GROUND ROPING! All are welcome to come listen to live country music, get great food and watch the competition. There will be extra roping dummies and ropes to practice. The streets in Aiken will shut down when country comes to town.
