Family Easter Eggstravaganza! (Updated For Weather)

Come join us for a Family Easter Eggstravaganza! This event is free and is open to the community!

You’ll start this event by checking into our welcome table to receive an Easter bag per child. In the bag, you’ll find instructions to our Easter Story Walking Path where families will travel from station to station reading the Easter Story poster boards and gathering items and Easter Eggs into your bags.

There’s a scavenger hunt component to the walking path where families will have a list of items and a corresponding count of items to take. For example, you will find and take 1 palm leaf, find and take 1 pencil, find and take 3 blue Easter Eggs, find and take 4 red Easter Eggs, etc. (per child). Please be aware that we will not be holding a traditional Ester egg hunt where we blow the whistle and all the kids run to get as many eggs as possible.

When you are done with the Easter Story Walking Path, you and your family will head over to the Activity Tables where families will bring the items they found at each station and use them to create crafts that tie into the Easter Story.

We will also be serving a hot dog and chips lunch for families to enjoy!

We will have a photo backdrop set up for you to take a family picture – bring your own phone camera and we will have someone available to take the picture. Our favorite Easter bunny will be making an appearance for photos too!

The event is for 2 hours and is held mainly outdoors on our church campus Wesley Center parking lot. Parking will be at our RTB field, Asbury parking lot, and the gym building parking lot. The Wesley Center parking lot will be closed off.

We are planning on holding our Easter event INSIDE of our Wesley Center auditorium IF it’s raining! We’re fortunate to have this as an option!
