Christmas by the Campfire

Some of the sweetest memories for many people have been created with friends and family members gathered around a campfire, roasting marshmallows, bundled up with blankets, and singing songs. We want to recapture that feeling, so at 6 pm on December 23, we’ll be hosting Christmas by the Campfire, a cozy, casual worship opportunity for anyone who wants an open air option, or just longs for a family gathering singing carols around the fire.

Meet us on the back fields behind the church around 5:30, and you’ll be greeted by smiling faces and a beautiful opportunity to connect with others and with our Savior. Make sure you bring your comfy lawn chair or picnic blanket, some hot coffee, cocoa, or cider, and items to stay warm. We’ll provide all the ingredients for s’mores, Christmas carol printouts so you can sing along, and of course the campfires themselves!

This promises to be a perfect compliment for folks attending our other Christmas services on the 24th, or an amazing alternative for those who prefer an outdoor expression of worship during the Christmas season. Bring along a friend or come meet a new one, December 23 at Wesley Church. We’ll see you by the campfire!
