Canal Discovery Day!
“Canal Discovery Day” is a free community event, supported by our sponsors. This is Augusta’s chance to gather at the Augusta Canal Discovery Center, and celebrate all our canal and community have to offer together! We’re planning a full day of family fun, fresh air, fishing, and food. The event will feature a full day of free fishing lessons. $7 Petersburg Boat rides. Also enjoy a 50/50 raffles, free Discovery Center admission, live music, exhibitors, food trucks and much more. Proceeds support the Augusta Canal National Heritage Area’s recreation and education programs. Join us for a fun-filled day at the Canal Discovery Center.
