17th Annual Empty Bowl

The 17th Annual Empty Bowl Luncheon is a joint project of the Augusta Jewish Community Center and the Golden Harvest Food Bank. Created to “Ending Hunger Together”, the event features a vast assortment of soups, breads and desserts, donated by generous local restaurants.

Attendees receive a ceramic bowl, handcrafted by local students.

This year there will be a very special event for the kids, as they help recreate the tale “Stone Soup”, which is so appropriate for the theme of the day.

Come look for treasures at the area’s “Largest Silent Auction”, with hundreds of gifts for the bidding.
