The CSRA is located near great cities that make great day trips! Explore Georgia and make your way to Atlanta for the day. It’s about a two-hour drive from the CSRA and totally worth the trip. Atlanta has a lot of fun attractions. You can check out museums, thrill rides, see some wildlife and tour some iconic places. Children’s Museum of Atlanta is a going to be a hit with the kiddos. They have over seven exhibits that provide an interactive experience for children of any age. Kids can explore and learn in a fun way. They have a fun paint wall, a science bar where kids can do real experiments, and great areas for babies and toddlers too! Looking for sensory-friendly fun? Try their Sensory Friendly Saturdays. They provide a modified museum experience with limited admission plus audio and lighting adjustments.

Zoo Atlanta is a perfect day trip for sure! Pack a lunch, some comfortable shoes, bathings suits and some sunscreen and get ready for a fun day. They have over 100 animal species and fun attractions. You can buy passes to ride the train and you can cool off at the splash fountain. They have shows you can enjoy and don’t forget to feed the giraffes. There is so much to do and see.
