CSRA Outdoor Play & Social Distancing

It’s warming up and the Coronavirus is trying to keep us indoors. But, there is a way for you to enjoy outdoors while maintaining a healthy distance from neighbors. Here are a few options for your family to enjoy! I am sure the kids will thank you!

Oh and don’t forget to wash your hands!

Please note:
Some of the these areas may be closed due to state/county closures. We will be sure to update as these closures take place.

Trails! Walk, Bike & Hike

The best outdoor activity for limited contact is hiking and walking. You can do this in your neighborhood, at state parks, and local trails. Make it fun, be sure to bring your bikes and scooters. Add a nature walk activity or carry a picnic along. Here are a few places to consider.

The Greeneway – North Augusta, SC (Still Open)
Euchee Creek Greeneway – Grovetown (Still Open)
Reed Creek Boardwalk and Trails – Martinez (Still Open)
Brick Pond Park – North Augusta (Still Open)

Basketball/Tennis Courts/Open Fields

Exert some energy at an outdoor basketball/tennis court. There are several courts throughout the CSRA. Most of them are located near parks that have greenspaces. So if the court is full…you won’t have a wasted a trip.

**Please note, most parks have playgrounds nearby. You may want to have a discussion about the type of play you will be engaging in.
