As Summer approaches we are starting to see the states beginning to re-open after COVID-19 closures. We are keeping up with local announcements and be sure to check back as things are changing week to week.

Columbia County

Evans Towne Park/Lady A

Augusta Metro

Wilson YMCA

Reopening Date: June 1st

What You Need To Know:

– Pool will have set times for lap swim that must be reserved in advance.

– Pool will open with designated sessions that must be reserved.

– Families* will be required to stay together in designated pods on pool deck.
*Family is defined as adults and dependents on one YMCA membership.*

– Pool areas and equipment will be cleaned and disinfected between sessions.

– See your branch for operating hours.

– Private or family swim lessons will be available by reservation.

– Members must shower before entering the pool.

– Sanitation stations and hand sanitizer will be available on the pool deck.

– Lazy rivers will be closed for tube usage.

Kroc Center of Augusta

Hours: Mon – Sun | 9AM – 3PM

– Pool (limit 30 swimmers)

– Spa remains closed

– Water features unavailable

– Pool will be closed during camp times.

– Pre-registration is recommended for pool slots!

Aiken

Aiken County YMCA

Fermata Pool Club

What You Need To Know:

Hours: 10 AM – 7 PM

Due to restrictions for COVID-19, there will be reduced capacity allowing 40 members at a time to enjoy the pool. Members are asked to limit visits to 90 minutes while capacity is met. Please practice social distancing and good sanitation practices.

Aiken Sprayground

What You Need To Know:

The City will limit participation in numbers, and safety measures will be implemented accordingly based on social distancing orders and following CDC, SCDHEC, and other federal and/or state guidelines. Contact each respective facility for more information regarding programming, rentals, and specific guidelines for play. They will be monitoring the facilities as they reopen.

The City of Aiken will not be sanitizing equipment.

Pools Wet Play Spaces Augusta Aiken

Houndslake Country Club

– Pool is membership only. 
– 45 person maximum and you don’t have to schedule a time.

North Augusta

Hammond Hill Suburban Club

Reopening Date: June 1st

What You Need To Know:

– We are Officially extending Summer! Weather permitting, we anticipate keeping the pool Open into October.

– Open June 1 at 9am

– We are utilizing a 60 person morning and 60 person afternoon session per day reservation model to Members Only to ensure the maximum opportunity to enjoy Summer.

– Only 75 memberships are available until June 15th. Website has been updated, but the inventory is currently limited to 75 new memberships.

– We have new hours, 9am to 8pm with a deep cleaning break from 2pm to 3pm

– Morning session 9am-2pm, Afternoon session 3pm-8pm.

– Lane ropes will be out from 9am-10am for lap swimmers, for those with morning reservations.

– To ensure we follow recommended guidelines a maximum of 60 people, per session inside the fenced area. This will allow for appropriate social spacing and cleaning.

– Please use the member portal (coming Sunday) to reserve your sessions.

– We encourage you to bring your own chairs each time. A limited and sanitized amount of chairs will be available.

– We have a cleaning protocol for all touch surfaces and including restrooms.

– All Members will need to exit the gated area during our deep cleaning period form 2pm-3pm daily.

– Monday and Thursday mornings will be maintenance and deep clean days. Please join us in the afternoons on these days.

– CSRA Swim League did cancel the Swim Season for Summer 2020

– Per Governor guidance to limit interactions to same households, no swim lessons or parties can be scheduled at this time.

Riverview Park Splash Pad
