Christmas time is here and Columbia County has already begun to ring in the holiday cheer! Christmas in Columbia County is a wonderful experience that has plenty of activity that your family can enjoy. In partnership with Evans on Ice, your family will be able to enjoy lights, ice skating, smores and more.
Walkthrough Christmas Lights Your Kids Will Love!
Christmas at Columbia County offers a wonderful walk-through light display that you can visit multiple times for free. Evans Towne Center Park is covered with thousands of lights. You will find light tunnels, still displays, lighted trees, and ornaments. It is quite enchanting and makes for wonderful photo opportunities. Oh!! Be sure to attend the Annual Columbia County Tree Lighting. The tree is LED and they light fireworks as well. It’s awesome.
The park-wide walk-through light display will be available from November 20 through the New Year.
Evans On Ice Is Back!
Evans on Ice is a local favorite. The outdoor skate rink will open on November 14 and run till Jan 8. They also offer train rides and roasted marshmallows on the weekends! If you are interested in skating lessons, you can book those privately. Season passes are available.
Christmas Celebration on December 3rd!
There will be a full day of holiday fun at Evans Towne Center Park on December 3rd!
Holiday Market – 1:00 p.m. – Shop from a variety of vendors!
Pictures with Santa – 1:30-5:00 pm
Christmas Parade – 3:00 pm
Christmas Music – 3:00-6:00 pm
Christmas Tree Lighting Program– 6:15 pm
Recommendations:
– Bundle Up! It will be cold. Bring coats and blankets.
– Bring a Chair. You can sit and let the kids run around.
– Bring Cash. Some vendors may only take cash. You want to be prepared.
