May is here!! Let the summer countdown begin. There is so much to do around the CSRA this month and we are excited to share them with you. Be sure to also check out our Summer Guide! It is the ultimate guide to planning an active and fun summer.

1. Head out to your local library! Arts and Crafts Buffet at Columbia County Library and Celebrate Cinco De Mayo at Friedman.

2. May the Story Time Be With You!! Check out the Stars Wars themed Super Awesome Story Time at the Book Tavern.

3. Be sure to check out First Friday! They will have a Star Wars cosplay contest, kids fun zone, and live entertainment. All Free!

4. Take the kids to the splash pad! Here is a list of local splash pads around town.

5. Spend a morning at the Augusta Farmers Market! Every Saturday 8 AM – 2 PM.

6. Check out the Good Boats for Goodwill event at Lake Olmstead! There will be vendors, kids activities and more. May 5th

7. Robots!!! Have some STEM fun at the CSRA Student Robotics Expo. May 5th at USC Aiken. 

8. Stop by the CSRA Kids table at the MOPS Mommy Expo. May 5th at Vineyard Church Augusta. 

9. Boogie with the family at the Family Gala Affair at Aiken Municipal Building on May 11th. Registration ends May 4th.

10. Sign the kids up for the Brandon Lynch Youth Football Camp. May 12th at Hephzibah High School.

11. Take Me Out to the Ball Game! Attend an Augusta GreenJackets game. Click here for their daily promotion schedule!

12. Let the kids burn off some energy at a local park. Check out our Outdoor Guide for park locations. (Aiken and North Augusta)

13. Have a bubble party! Here are some cool ideas.

14. Kids love legos and they love them with friends. Be sure to attend Lego Club at Augusta Library on May 12th.

15. Moms love a nice gift! Free photos are being offered for Mother’s Day at Cabela’s. May 12th and 13th.

16. Go Under the Sea with the Little Mermaid at the Imperial Theatre. May 11th – 13th. 

17. Symphony Under the Stars will be May 12th. There will be family activities, a concert and fireworks! 

18. Don’t miss Mayfest Family Day 2018! There will be a Kids Zone, Car Show, Live Entertainment & More! May 12th.

19. Take a Hike! Hike It Baby Augusta has several hikes a month. Check them out!

20. Learn water safety with the YMCA! Free Community Safety Around Water Week May 14th -18th. 

21. Storytime in the Gardens at Hopelands Gardens every Tuesday at 4 PM. Every child gets a free book!

22. Get your tickets for FamBlitz Live! Free Fun Family Event! Tickets are available at the church. May 19th.
